Peace
The bad state of a body organ causes a disease.
This is for body.
What about mind?
What do we call the state we have in our mind?
Peace.
There are 2 cases regarding this peace:
The first case is peace depending on feeling:
The persons who are the participators here are ordinary people.
The second case is peace depending on the truth that we arrived using logic:
The person who is the participator is the one who can think.
What about the peace of ordinary people?
If they experience a good feeling(even by accepting a lie as truth) their peace is solidified and also expanded.
when there is situation of accepting a bitter truth and if this bitter truth creates bad feeling their peace is shaken. So they just ignored this bitter truth as a personal opinion or just by saying I don't like it.
To save their peace ordinary people are dependent of external things or people or avoiding truth. So their peace is always under danger.
What about peace of a person whose peace is dependent on truth got using logic?
His peace is dependent on truth got using logic. Even if bad situations happens in his life the peace will not be gone totally.
He will be sad. Yet there is a peace.
also in each and every case
ordinary people believe the feeling they have is real and it belongs to them as it happens in their head ....
Question your feeling.
Even you concludes it is real cut the relation between your peace and the feeling.
Thats what a logician do.
"Osho once said something that I read a while ago:
If a person carries a heavy object in their right hand, after a while, that hand will begin to ache. To find relief, they will shift that weight to the other hand. In the same way, when you seek happiness from other people, you will eventually discover that they are not who you thought they were. Then, you will move on to seek happiness from another person, only to find that they too do not meet your expectations. You must not seek happiness in other people.
My view is:
Seek happiness in the actions you love to do—like traveling, bike riding, or painting. Find it in your own actions, rather than in your relationships with others."
Seek happiness in your actions that you would like to do like travelling, bike riding, painting...in your action and not in the relation with others...
Even if you bike riding goes wrong or your painting goes wrong or it you don't have money to travel you will feel worry.
I am not saying "don't worry for your loss or death of your loved ones' like Stoic philosophers tell. All I am saying is let the worry be at the surface level of the heart. The worry should not penetrate deep into the center of the heart where peace lies.
Think like this------>
'i am worrying. Yet I am not completely broken. My hearts surface is injured and I won't let the injury penetrate into my heart's center. For that I use the truth(everyone dies. That is the way of life) got using logic'.....
Important note:
Let us assume I am in a small job. I have less income. Let us assume I hate a person severely. He comes and tell me that he will tell a big job for me and in that I can earn a very big amount of money per month. Consider it is not a scam. Consider what he says is the truth. At that time I will think it is better to be in my small job than accepting his offer. And let us conclude i will reject his offer.
Rejecting his offer is my choice.
There is no reason for logic to enter here.
What is logic?
Logic is the way to attain truth.
Logic is intrinsic property of sharp intelligence and sharp intelligence is innate.
But consider there is some other thing which I hate. I think I don't want to do an action regarding it. I have my own imagined false reason for hating it. But the real reason for hating it might be some other thing which I don't know.
At that time logic enters
and solves the puzzle and frees me.
